SO I went for the test - cost $100, I was only the second rower so the set up was a bit basic and thier rowing knowledge was
weak. That being said I got everything I wanted, VO2 max, lactate threshold (85% of VO2 max), air volume etc.
The big news, I am only taking 1 breath per stroke even when maxed out, whereas he published data showed most at 2 breaths
per stroke.. The volume of air I am processing is 50% of elete athletes of my size and my VO2 max is about 50% percentile
for my age group independent of conditioning. SO guess what I am going to do !!
